Licenses and Certification

  • Documents are provided and include a B A  from UMASS in Kindergarten through grade eight  Teaching licenses in Massachusetts and Vermont.
  • Teaching degree in food & hospitality Chef Instructor Degree combined with my BA in education from the University of Massachusetts.  Teaching Instructors license in the state of Massachusetts and Vermont.




An Associates degree in food and hospitality from the Culinary Institute of America.


I am a certified ServSafe instructor and proctor for managers level Food safety instruction
for the National Restaurant Association.



My son Nicholas worked as a winter recreational guide in the Smugglers Notch area
for the Stowe Mountain Lodge. He also work at the Harvest Market, a high-end food
boutique in Stowe, VT in a variety of preparation and organizational capacities and
became the bakery farmer’s market manager covering multiple weekly farmer’s market
in our area.  Our diverse and practical experience in the food world, the education
world & our love of nature and agriculture and our rural Vt lifestyle we work at has
brought us to this place and time as I have related in the above.
