The CSA is the cornerstone of Wintergreen Mountain Farm's operation - providing us with necessary operating capital up front while providing members with seasonal, diverse, quality food at a fair price. This community effort helps keep our friends, neighbors and family healthy. The less your food travels the better it is for everything and everyone. A CSA allows you to budget your food costs, get healthy food you value, as well as easily plan for your week.
How it works:
We offer two different share sizes over a twenty week period.
>Two person share - you will receive 6 seasonal food items for two people.
>Four person share - you will receive 6 seasonal food items for four people. >Pick-up is scheduled for Thursday noon - 6 PM.
>Member shares will be bagged and ready to go.
Our Weekly Farmstand:
Open Thursday noon - 6 PM
Seasonal vegetables will be available
and Value-added food items such as:
>Pickled vegetables
>frozen entrees
>soups & sauces
>local meat
>culinary and medicinal herbs
>foraged items
